MeMeTiMe

A couple bloggie friends did this meme and I haven't done one in a while, and I'm strung out from work, sooo......

1. never in my life have i been: to Florida

2. the one person who can drive me nuts is: sleeping in my bed ;-)

3. high school was: mostly forgettable

4. when i'm nervous: yell at people

5. the last song i listened to was: some 80's song on Pandora

6. if i were to get married right now, my maid of honor would be: someone who wouldn't be shocked at bigamy (since I am ALREADY married)

7. my hair is: rather dry in back and in need of a dye job

8. when i was 5: I could read very well.

9. last christmas: we weren't sure we could buy any gifts, but the Lord provided as He always does

10. i should be: doing my yearbook page.

11. when i look down i see: my jeans and bare feet

12. the happiest recent event was: spending the weekend with family

13. if i was a character on friends, i would be: NOT Phoebe, lol I'd probably be Ross. I didn't watch the show well enough to know if I could be Rachel or Monica. Though I'd love to have either of their hair or their figures. LOL

14. by this time next year i will be: SKINNIER

15. my current gripe is: My kids aren't on-board with my homeschooling plan and yes, Michele, not enough hours in the day to deal with it properly.

16. i have a hard time understanding: how kids can LOOK like they're listening, but they really aren't. Even if they've heard the same instructions 100 times before.

17. there's this girl i know that: taught me that I could be a runner girl just like her

1. What is your favorite thing to snack on while you're blogging?
Popcorn or candy and a big glass of water. Oh, if it is morning, COFFEE.

2. What is one thing you wouldn't want to live without?
Internet access

3. Beach, Mountains or Farm? Where would you live if you had a choice?
BEACH or by a lake. Done the farm thing already. lol

4. What's your least favorite chore/household duty?
Cooking.

5. Who do people say you remind them of?
My mom??

6. Prefer parties and socializing or staying at home with the fam?
Not "parties" but I like getting together with my friends. But staying home has its attractions as well.

7. What's your all time favorite movie?
The Lord of the Rings

8. Do you sleep in your make up or remove it like a good girl every night?
Remove it. But I don't wear it every day and when I don't wear it, I don't wash my face at night.

9. Do you have a hidden talent or a deep desire to learn something that you've never had a chance to learn? What is it?
I've always wanted to learn to crochet and I finally have the chance. I am taking a MOM class at my homeschool co-op while my kids are in their classes. So far I can make a really long chain. lol

10. What's one strange thing you're really good at?
Finding information on the internet. I can find almost anything I need!

11. What first attracted you to your spouse?
His rebellious attitude. (Not really a plus, in the long run, I can assure you! LOL)

12. What is something you love to smell?
Lilacs; I can't WAIT for May every year!

13. Tell something about you that you know irritates people.
I am bad about interrupting people when they are talking. Sorry, everyone!

14. When you have extra money (HA!) what's the first thing you think to do with it?
Go to the movies or buy books!

15. Are you a silent laugher or a loud laugher? What makes you laugh the hardest?
Loud laugher and I like to laugh at silly videos.

16. Where is your favorite place to shop?
Thrift stores, rummage sales, yard sales, secondhand stores

17. What's one thing you'd do more often if you had more time?
Well, I will say scrapbooking. If I had more time AND MONEY.

1. I won't really relax until my son gets back home. (And this is just a little taste of the rest of the summer. Here and then gone again.)

2. My favorite thing for dinner lately has been Chicken and veggies.

3. All I seem to hear around here is bark! bark! bark!

4. A nice long walk sounds great! Should have done it sooner. Now the sun's going down.

5. My scale had some good news for me this morning.

6. When all is said and done, my daughters apparently just don't understand the concept of keeping their room straightened up.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to taking the kids to a carnival down the street, tomorrow my plans include finding something fun to do and Sunday, I want to welcome my son home!

1. It's cold and rainy somewhere, but not here!

5. Well, first of all, I am tired of never finding anything where I left it!

1. Moving to a new house is one of my goals.

5. In nearly 10 years, I have not weighed as little as I weigh right now. Actually, make that more than 12 years.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to absolutely nothing (but I wish I had something to DO), tomorrow my plans include coaching my last soccer game and hopefully hitting some garage sales and Sunday, I want to prepare a pie for my husband's birthday on Monday!

1. Anonymous...I agree with you. I didn't do the last two Friday Fill-ins, because they were not amusing to me. However, I wouldn't have stated my opinions quite so rudely as you appeared to think appropriate. (If you don't "get it", go read the Friday Fill-in blog.)

2. Test scoring is a bear. (I'm scoring online tests for extra income.)

3. Let me embrace thee, sour adversity, cakes that don't rise. (Huh? This one was odd.)

4. Bird songs, blue skies, white puffy clouds, and flowers: what I look forward to most about Spring.

5. Who needs therapy when the Bible has all the answers we need.

6. Chocolate bunnies and jelly beans MUST go into the Easter Basket!

And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to watching Bedtime Stories, tomorrow my plans include dyeing eggs with the kids, scoring more tests, and cleaning house and Sunday, I want to go to an Easter breakfast at church, attend a Resurrection service, maybe walk with the family and, of course, score more tests!

1. Why do we have to sleep? I could get so much more done if I didn't.

2. Counting calories and exercising regularly are now habits.

3. I have a few books around here somewhere. (LOL)

4. I had never heard the phrase "might could" (in real life) and it turned up in a movie I was watching (Fireproof). (It's a Southern thing, I'm told.)

5. I got caught up in the details again the way I always do.
